Peel the pumpkin and cut it into medium slices.

Soak the peanuts overnight.

Steam the pumpkin until cooked.

Boil the peanuts until soft.

Mash the pumpkin.

Add 1/2 cup sugar (about 100 grams).

Mix in the tapioca starch until well combined.

When the mixture no longer sticks to your hands, shape it into large or small balls as desired.

Bring a pot of water to a boil, then add the pumpkin balls. When they float, they are done.

Heat the coconut milk on the stove.

Add the peanuts and the pumpkin balls to the coconut milk.

Add the remaining 1/2 cup sugar (about 100 grams) and adjust to taste. Wait for the sweet soup to boil again, then turn off the heat.

Scoop the pumpkin peanut sweet soup into bowls.
