Ingredients

  • 300 gmpaneer cubes cut into 1" pieces
  • 2 tbspspicy red garlic chutney
  • 2 tbspspicy green chutney
  • 1 cupcrushed cornflakes with 1/2 tsp red chilli powder and 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cupplain flour and corn flour
  • 1/2 tspsalt
  • 3 tspoil for shallow frying
  • as neededGreen Chutney
  • 1 cupcoriander
  • 2 tbsproasted chana dal
  • 1 tsplemon juice
  • 3green chilies
  • 1/2 tspsalt
  • as neededRed Chutney
  • 20 clovesgarlic
  • 1 tspkashmiri red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tspcumin seed
  • 1/2 tsplemon juice
  • 1/2 tspsalt

Steps

  1. 1

    Divide the paneer in to 2 portion and slice the paneer cubes into 2 halves.

  2. 2

    Apply a little garlic chutney on ½ of the paneer cubes of the first portion.

  3. 3

    Sandwich with the remaining paneer cubes. Keep aside.

  4. 4

    Same way apply green chutney on 1/2 of the paneer cubes of the second portion.

  5. 5

    Combine the flour with salt and ¼ cup of water to make a thin batter.

  6. 6

    Coat the paneer with the flour batter and then roll them in cornflakes mixture.

  7. 7

    Heat the oil in a pan and shallow fry a few paneer pieces at a time, till they are golden brown in colour from all sides.

  8. 8

    Drain on absorbent paper and serve hot.

  9. 9

    Green Chutney & Red Chutney

  10. 10

    Grind everything in a mixer with 2 tbsp water to a thick paste.
