Steps
- 1
In a bowl, combine the softened butter with the sifted flour. Mix with your hands.
- 2
Add the two egg yolks. Mix until the dough is smooth.
- 3
Add about 2 1/2 tablespoons of Truvia sugar. Mix well.
- 4
Let the dough rest in the refrigerator for half an hour.
- 5
Place a sheet of parchment paper on the work surface, secure it with a bit of butter, place the dough on top, and cover with another sheet of parchment paper. Roll out the dough. Keep any extra dough in the fridge to prevent it from warming up.
- 6
Cut out the cookies using cookie cutters.
- 7
Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- 8
Place the cookies on the baking sheet and watch them closely. Remove them from the oven as soon as the edges start to brown, about 8 to 10 minutes.
- 9
Let them cool on a wire rack. Dust with powdered sugar for those who can consume sugar.
