This is pilau with potatoes
Steps

Cut the meat into cubes and fry it in a pan with a generous amount of oil till brown

Cut the onions into slices not cubes

Fry the onions,garlic and ginger in oil until brown you can add the remaining oil from the meat

Add pilau masala and fry till the pilau masala turns black

Next add the rice and meat and stir then add in the potatoes and tomatoes.season salt

Next add the hot water and stir till it boils then let it simmer under medium heat for 4 minutes then lower the heat and let it cook under low heat

Cover when all the water is almost gone so that the top rice can cook

For the kachumbari.deseed the tomatoes and cut into thinner slices.the pulp can be used later in a meal

Cut the onions and hohos into cubes and blanch them in hot water for 3minutes to remove the tangyness

Drain them from the water and add them into the tomatoes squeeze lemon juice on them and season with salt and pepper as desired.serve on the side with pilau
