Steps

Rinse and soak chhana in water for 8 hours or overnight.

Drain the excess water and in pressure cooker add chhana, onion, garlic, ginger, green chill, chilli powder, haldi powder, coriander powder and salt.

Add 3cups of water, pressure cook for 30 minutes.

First keep in high flame and when first whistle comes, reduce flame to sim and cook for 30 minutes.

Grind coconut, fennel, coriander leaves to a smooth paste adding little water. Keep aside.

Open the pressure cooker and switch on the flame.

Add the ground coconut nut paste to the curry and let it boil for 10 minutes.

For seasoning-heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, when it starts to splutter, add coconut saute until it changes to slight brown.

Add garam masala powder and curry leaves and add these seasoning to curry.

Mix well and cook for few minutes and serve hot.
