Cheese and Onion Mash

A lovely Potato mash with a twist!

Steps

Wash, peel and cut Potatoes into small chunks. Place into a steamer (or large saucepan with cold water, then bring to boil), for about 15-20 minutes.

Peel and dice Onions, add to pot of potatoes

Meanwhile, grate cheese and set aside. When potatoes and onions are soft, (drain if using a saucepan!), put into a large bowl with the Butter, Salt and Pepper. Add grated cheese.

Using a masher, mix until smooth and creamy, adding some milk if too thick. Serve on its own, or as an accompaniment to fish or meat! Enjoy!
