Sort the maize and beans and boil in one pot. Boil until soft for 3 hours or more.

Put oil in a separate pan, then add in onions and cook until golden brown. Add in tomatoes and cook until they become mashed.

Add in salt. Add in the boiled githeri. Add in royco and mix.

You can add in little water and allow to boil for a few minutes. It's ready.
