Soak roasted moong daal for 2-3 hours then grind it into smooth paste.

Now heat a pan, pour moong daal paste in it then add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and water as per your requirement and mix it well.

Simmer it for 45-50 minutes and cook it well.

Now add tamarind paste in it and cook it for another 5-8 minutes on medium flame and switch off the flame.

Now heat oil in a tempering pan, add black mustard seeds, asafoetida, dry red chilli and bay leaves and allow it crackle.

Now pour it in the moong daal kadhi.

Your moong daal kadhi is ready to serve now.

You cab serve it with boiled rice.
