Hence it is in my habit that instead of throwing leftovers in the bin, i always use innovation and try to make excellent delicacies. Let’s see how leftover khoya after making ghee can be made into delicious Ladoo by adding something of our choice such as roasted sesame, peanuts, dryfruits, left chapatis , flours, etc. The list is endless.

Ingredients

5-10 mins
10 servings
  • 1 cupleftover khoya after making ghee at home
  • 1 cuppowdered sugar
  • 1 cuproasted and coarsely ground sesame(i am using sesame but there are other options also)
  • 1/2 tspcardamom powder

Steps

    Mix sesame powder, sugar powder, cardamom powder and khoya in a bowl

  2. 2

    Note: Always store malai in freezer otherwise khoya can be little sour in taste

  3. 3

    Make ladoo with your hand. you can coat them in coconut or decorate with almonds.They can be stored in fridge for 5-6 days
