Tacos are one of my favourite appetizers or starters, I have made these in tarts instead of taco shells.

Tacos are one of my favourite appetizers or starters, I have made these in tarts instead of taco shells.

First for the tarts take maida in a mixing bowl, add chillies butter to it, add salt & start rubbing it lightly with your finger tips, once the mixture gets crumbly add cold water & bring the dough togethe, do not knead the dough.

Then make small balls out of the dough & press it into tart moulds & prick it with a fork & bake the tarts in a preheated oven over 170°c for 15-18min or untill light brown. Remove them from the oven & transfer it on a wire rack & allow them to cool.

For the taco filling take a sauce pan, add butter to it, once the butter melts add garlic paste & cook it for 2min, then add tomato puree, taco seasoning & cook it for 5-10min, then add canned baked beans & mix everything nicely, & cook it for 2 min & switch off the gas & set it aside.

For the sour cream mix equal quantities of hung curd & cream cheese & fill it in a piping bag & set aside

Take the baked tarts add lettuce in the bottom, place the baked beans mixture, finish it with sour cream & garnish with parsley & spring onion.
