Ingredients

15 minutes
7-8 servings
  1. 3 cupsRice flour
  2. 3 cupswater
  3. 1coconut grated
  4. 3/4 cupjaggery
  5. 1 tspcardomom powder
  6. Pinchsalt
  7. 1 tbspGhee

Steps

15 minutes
  1. 1

    In a pan, take 1 tsp ghee, coconut and jaggery and saute till it changes colour and jaggery completely melts. Stuffig is ready

  2. 2

    In another pan, boil water add salt, ghee and bring to boil. Add rice flour and mix it vigorously and switch the gas off. Cove it for 15 minutes.

  3. 3

    Take the rice flour mixture, and make a smooth dough of it properly.

  4. 4

    Make modak shape by adding the stuffing with the help of mould.

  5. 5

    In a steamer, steam the modaks for 15 minutes.

  6. 6

    In a steamer, steam for 15 minutes.

  7. 7

    Enjoy.
