In a pan boil the water and butter until the butter melts. Add oregano, chilli flakes, ginger chilli paste and salt. Turn off the gas and add the flour to the water and mix well. Ensuring no lumps are formed.

Heat oil on medium heat and place the dough in the piping bag with a nozzle or the murruku machine. Once the oil is heated start piping the churros in length ways about 2 1/2 inches and deep fry until golden brown.

Remove and sprinkle with parmesan cheese and chilli flakes. Enjoy with cheese sauce or any of your favourite sauce.
