Ingredients

2 servings
  • 200 gmcottage cheese(paneer) cut into cubes
  • 2big onions roughly chopped
  • 8-9cashews
  • 1green chilli
  • 1tblspn cream
  • 1 inchginger
  • 6-7garlic cloves
  • 3tomatoes rougly chopped
  • 1dalchini (cinnamon) stick
  • 4-5black pepper seeds
  • 2Green elaichi (cardamom)
  • 2 pcslaung (cloves)
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/2 cup fresh coriander chopped
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp kasoori methi
  • 250 gmOil
  • 1/2 cupfrozen peas

Steps

  1. 1

    First heat oil in a vok for deep fry. Now deep fry cubed paneer until it become golden. Then keep it aside.

  2. 2

    Heat 1 tblspn oil in a pan. Add dalchini, black pepper, green elaichi, laung and fry for a minute.

  3. 3

    Now add roughly chopped onions, garlic, ginger and cashews. Fry for 5-6 minutes.

  4. 4

    Now add tomatoes and cook until it become soft. Now turn off flame and let it cool down.

  5. 5

    After cool down grind into a smoot paste.

  6. 6

    Heat a pan and put this paste into it. Cook for 4-5 minutes.

  7. 7

    Then add turmeric, garam masala power and salt and stir. Then add cream and mix.

  8. 8

    Add paneer, peas and a cup of water. And allow it boil to 7-8 minutes.

  9. 9

    Turn off the flame and add kasoori methi.

  10. 10

    Garnish with fresh coriander and grated paneer.
