Ingredients

  1. 6parwal (pointed gourd)
  2. 1onion paste
  3. 3green chilli
  4. 1 tea spoonginger garlic paste
  5. 2 tbspCurd
  6. 2 tbspPoppy seed paste
  7. 1 tea spoonred chilli powder
  8. 1 tea spooncumin powder
  9. 1 tea spoonturmeric powder
  10. Salt as per taste
  11. 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  12. 3 tbspMustuerd oil
  13. 2 to 3Dry red chilli
  14. 1 tspWhole garam masala

Steps

  1. 1

    Cut parwal in two pcs. Merinated it with salt and turmeric for 15-20 min.

  2. 2

    Heat a pan add 2-3 tbl spoon mustard oil. Fry the parwal.

  3. 3

    Add some oil in the same pan. Add dry red chilli and whole garam masala. After 1 min add ginger garlic paste and stir if needed add little bit of water. After 2 mins add onion paste stir well.

  4. 4

    After 5 mins add poppy seed paste, curd, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder mix well.

  5. 5

    When the oil separated from the masala add 1 cup of water, fried parwal,salt,sugar.mix well and Cover it.

  6. 6

    After 5-6 mins put the gas off. Dahi parwal is ready to serve.
