Ingredients

4 servings
  • 750 grambottle gourd
  • 1/4 cupghee
  • 5cashew nuts
  • 5cut almonds
  • 2 tbspraisins
  • 1 1/2 litremilk
  • 8-10pistachios
  • 2-3 dropskewra essence
  • 250 gramsugar
  • 4powdered Cardamoms

Steps

  1. 1

    Grate the bottle gourd and separate the seeds.

  2. 2

    Heat up the milk in heavy bottom karahi and add grated lauki in it.

  3. 3

    Stir until milk gets thickens.

  4. 4

    Now heat up the ghee in a separate pan and fry all the dry fruits in it.

  5. 5

    Now add dried lauki mixture in it and stir for 5 minutes.

  6. 6

    Add sugar, cardamom powder, and kewara essence in it

  7. 7

    Decorate this Halwa with dry fruits and serve it hot.
