This is an instant recipe that uses bread to thicken the rabri almost instantly. It reduces the time and energy we spend laboriously stirring the milk till it thickens, it is also lower in fat content.

This is an instant recipe that uses bread to thicken the rabri almost instantly. It reduces the time and energy we spend laboriously stirring the milk till it thickens, it is also lower in fat content.
Steps

To start with, take a non-stick pan and keep it on high flame.boil milk on high flame. Add milk to the pan and bring it to a boil, while stirring occasionally.

Meanwhile Remove the edges of the bread slices. Grind the bread slices in a food processor to make fresh bread crumbs and keep aside.

In a bowl add 1/2 cup milk and milk powder and mix well.

Once milk start boiling keep the flame on medium, now add bread crumbs and milk powder mixture the mix it well.

Cook it for 2 minutes on medium flame, while stirring continuously

Now add sugar, chopped dry fruits, mix well and stirring continuously and scrapping the sides of the pan.

Once the rabdi become thick (Adjust the consistency of rabdi according to you).At last add cardamom powder/ rose water/ kewra jal and mix well. Rabdi is ready.

Allow it to cool completely and refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours.

Serve chilled and Garnish with some extra mixed nuts and enjoy!
