This morning I saw fresh betel leaves in the garden and immediately thought of making this delicious grilled beef dish.

Mix the ground beef with salt, sugar, all-purpose seasoning, finely chopped shallots, minced garlic, minced lemongrass, and toasted sesame seeds. Combine well.

Let the mixture marinate for about 30 minutes.

Wash the betel leaves and pat them completely dry. Place the beef mixture on the rough side of each leaf and roll it up, using the stem to secure the roll.

Place the rolls in an air fryer or oven, brush with oil, and grill for about 10–15 minutes. Serve and enjoy.
