
Trifle Custard
A dessert with surprises on every bite
Steps

Mix the milk and sugar and bring it to boil. Heat the milk till it gets reduced.

Keep some cold milk and mix the custard powder on a separate bowl.

Add the custard mixture in the reduced milk and mix till it gets thickened. Put of the flame and let it cool down a bit

Cut the apple and banana in to small dices. keep some sugar water to coat the cakes and the fruits

Ina glass bowl layer the cakes on the bottom and drizzle the sugar water on the cakes. Cover the cake layer with assorted fruits and repeat the drizziling. Keep the bowl on the freeze for 5-10 mins

Once out of the freeze, pour the warm custard from the top slowly.

Melt some mixed fruit jam with water on a non-stick pan and drizzle it over the warm custard to create a pattern (whipped cream can be the best option along with the melted jam)

Refridgerate for 2 hours. Serve chilled
