Ingredients

1 to 2 hours
8 to 12 servings
  • 2 lbsstewed meat or chuck roast
  • 3-4medium potatoes diced
  • 1soup bone
  • 4-5carrots diced
  • 2-3 stalkscelery diced
  • 1diced sweet onion
  • 1large head diced garlic
  • 1diced jalapeño
  • 1 (14.5 oz)can piete tomatoes
  • 1 (15 oz)can corn optional
  • 2 (32 oz)beef broth
  • 1 cupwater
  • 1/2 tspsalt
  • 1 cupvegetable noodles
  • 1/2 tsppepper
  • 1/2 stickbutter
  • 1/2 tspcoriander
  • 1 canprogeesso minestrone soup
  • 1-3 tbspworcestershire sauce
  • 2bay leaves
  • olive oil
  • Optional 1/4 to 1/2 fresh cabbage

Steps

1 to 2 hours
  1. 1

    Sauté in a large pot the onions, garlic and jalapeños in the olive oil and butter on medium high heat.

  2. 2

    Add cover meat with beef broth, add worchestershire sauce, soy sauce, and cook till meat is tender. Check not to let meat cook dry.

  3. 3

    Add all other ingredients and stir well to mix. Bring to a boil, then cut heat down to medium. Cook till potatoes & carrots are soft 20 to 30 minutes. Turn to simmer till ready to serve. Enjoy!
