Drain the canned tuna, then add the egg, breadcrumbs, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix well until you have a dry mixture, adjusting the breadcrumbs as needed.

Shape the mixture into balls. They should be dry and hold their shape.

Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add the meatballs and cook for 1 minute, then remove and set aside.

In a skillet, heat the olive oil and add the chopped garlic and onion. Cook for a few minutes, then add the tomato sauce and the meatballs. Let cook for 5 minutes.

Simmer on low heat since the tuna is already cooked. Garnish with a little thyme.
