Ingredients

35-40min
  1. 1 cupgrated lauki
  2. 300 mlmilk (room temp)
  3. 1/4 cupsugar
  4. Halftspoon elaichi powder
  5. 2tspoon ghee
  6. Chopped almond cashews and sultanas

Steps

  1. 1

    Ek kadhai me ghee garam karein aur grated lauki add karke medium flame me lagatar chalate hue kareeb 8-10min bhune.

    Jab lauki ka pani sukh jaye aur wo achche se bhun jaye tab usme sugar add karein aur slow to medium flame me lagatar chalaye jab tak sugar melt na ho jaye.sugar melt hone ke baad lagar chalate hue kareeb 5 min aur pakne de.

    Ab milk add karein aur achche se mix karein aur milk ke pura sukhne tak pakne de. Beech beech me chalate rahe taki tali me lagne na paye.

    Jba milk 1/4rah jaye tab elaichi powder add karein aur achche se mix karke pakne de

    Jab milk achche se sukh jaye tab lagatar chalate hue kareeb 7-8min tak medium flame par pakaye jab tak halwa achchi tarah sukh na ho jaye aur pan na chodne lage.

  6. 6

    Sabse aakhir me apni pasand ke kate hue dry fruits add karein. Garam ya thanda jaisa chahe serve karein.

    Notes - (1) dry fruits optional hai aap chahe to skip kar sakte hai bina dry fruit bhi halwa kafi achcha taste deta hai.
