Steps

Fry rice in two spoon ghee

Add six times milk and cook rice on very low flame stirring occasionally

Keep on adding milk as it evaporates till the rice is nicely cooked.

Add flavour of your choice saffron or cardamom and put off the flame
- 5
Add sugar when the rice mix is little cool. Adding sugar to very hot milk causes curdling some times
- 6
Transfer into serving bowl, garnish and serve hot or chilled
