Trying to get it closer to what I tasted at a Russian restaurant “избушка” in Astana, Kazakhstan.

Ingredients.

Slice an onion and a carrot.
- 3
Slice beets. Keep the soup in the can.

Dice beef and stir fry it lightly with tallow. Add salt and pepper if you like.

Put beef in a bowl and stir fry sliced onion and carrot until the colour changes.

Ad water and beef consommé(600ml in total) and boil it for 30mins-1h.

Add sour cream and dill weed. Squeeze a lemon if you like. Bon appétit!
