Ingredients

  • Chana daal
  • Rice
  • Refined oil
  • Jeera
  • Red chilli powder
  • Kali mirch powder
  • Salt
  • Water

Steps

  1. 1

    First soak chana dal in water for 3 to 4 hours.

  2. 2

    Put some oil in a pan and add jeera in it and then soaked dal and rice.Mix it.

  3. 3

    Add salt,red chilli powder and kaali mirch and mix it.

  4. 4

    Add water and heat up on medium flame for 10 to 15 mintues.

  5. 5

    KHICHDI is ready to serve.
