Lemon Pepper Chicken

This is an out-of-the-box recipe of chicken that your kids gonna love. It is healthy as well as tasty and a simple preparation of chicken, having a tangy taste and strong flavour of black pepper.

Marinate the chicken with the yogurt, salt, ginger and garlic paste and 1 teaspoon of black pepper and keep it for 1 hour.

Heat some oil in a pan and 1 tablespoon of butter. Add the marinated chicken mix it well and cover it with a lid. Simmer the flame. Keep it for 15min.

Uncover the pan and saute it well. Add the green chillies and lemon juice and again cover it for 5mins.

Increase the flame and fry the pieces of chicken untill they has got brown marks.

Add the poppy seeds paste. Fry them well untill the oil separates.

Add some water for the gravy.

Bring it to boil. Add some salt for the gravy. And little bit of sugar to balance the salt.

Cover it for 10mins. Check whether the chicken has become soft.

Mix the cornflour with the water and add it in the pan.

Add the rest of the black pepper and butter. Mix them well.

Mix them well and remove it from the flame. Garnish it with the coriander leaves and the lemon rings.
