Ingredients

  1. 2 cupsrice
  2. Salt
  3. Jumbo
  4. Orange or yellow food colour
  5. Spices of choice eg black pepper,cinnamon etc
  6. 4large onions (finely chopped)
  7. 4large carrots(sliced)
  8. 6fresh tomatoes (sliced)
  9. 1bell pepper (sliced)
  10. 1whole garlic
  11. 1fresh ginger (medium)
  12. Coriander leaves(chopped)
  13. 3tbsn tomatoes paste
  14. Butter milk

Steps

  1. 1

    Boil the eggs....in a blender put the butter milk,carrots,tomatoes,coriander leaves and bell pepper and blend till fine.make ginger garlic paste.as for the rice in boiling water add half jumbo,spices,salt then rice.when it's almost cooked mix 1/2 tspn food colour in 1tbsn water n pour on top then cover for 5 minutes.meanwhile do not stir.once fully cooked mix to get the look shown below

    In a sufuria add oil on high heat then add the onoins till they are brown.add the garlic ginger paste and the spices then stir for a minute...add the blended mixture,cover n let it cook for about 10 minutes.when fully cooked add the boiled eggs and leave on medium-high heat for about 5 minutes.and it's redy
