Rub ghee with salt. Add Maida and mix into stiff dough. Make dumplings after 15 minutes roll into thin disc

Apply oil and dust dry Maida. Fold to half apply oil and dust dry maida

Fold to quarter, prick with a fork so that the puris will not puff up while frying. Keep all the puris ready

Add half cup water to sugar and make syrup. Add saffron colour, nutmeg powder and lemon juice

Deep fry the puris in hot oil on medium flame till golden brown

Soak in the sugar syrup for two minutes and remove
- 7
Dish out and garnish with cherries before serving
