Steps

Wash and chop methi.

Take a iron kadahi and pour mustard oil in it and heat it till burning hot to avoid it's raw taste.

Now add asafetida in it. Then add cumin seeds, chopped garlic in it till it changes it's colour to golden brown.

Now add green chilli to it.

Now add ginger.

Now add onion to it and saute it till golden brown. Now add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and mix well.

Now add grated tomatoes and sakte for 2 mins.

Add potatoes and methi to it and mix well. Cover it for 5 mins and again mix it and cover it for another 5 mins.

Switch off the gas after 20 mins, you will see the oil is separated from vegetable. Bhaaji is ready to serve.

Serve hot with makki ki roti.
