Add curd and water to flour and make a thick consistency batter. Rest it for 7-8 hours to get bit fermented.

Grate bottle gourd and add it to the batter when ready to cook.

Add all masalas, sugar and garlic chilli paste.

Make all tadka material ready.

Take a tadka pan and add oil. Add all tadka material. Once mustard crackles add 1 tsp Kashmiri chilli powder to the tadka. Add this tadka to batter.

Mix it thoroughly.

Grease a baking dish. Add this batter and sprinkle some sesame seeds over it.

Bake it for 45 minutes on 180. Handvo is ready to serve.
