OK to be honest I'm not a fan of turkey yes it's true. So I am even a less fan of leftover turkey. The only reason I eat or cook turkey is because the rest of my family want it for the holidays. So I am eating something different instead of leftover turkey. Guess what everyone wanted what I was making. So I ate what I wanted and anything leftover they ate it, but my second oldest granddaughter got the leftover sliders, and ate them like a dinosaur, lol!

Ingredients

  1. Slider meat------------------
  2. 1 poundground beef 75/25
  3. 1/2 teaspoongranulated garlic powder
  4. 1/2 teaspoonkosher salt
  5. 1/2ground black pepper
  6. 1large tomato
  7. Condiments-----------------------
  8. 1large white onion
  9. 1 teaspoonseasoned salt
  10. To tastemayonnaise
  11. As neededextra sharp cheddar cheese
  12. 10rolls I used King Hawaiian Rolls

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Slice the tomato, and the onion. I used 75/35 so that the onion had plenty of juices to cook in. You pay the same for the fat and the lean when you buy the meat so use every bit of it you can, yes?

  2. 2

Heat a frying pan hot. Mix the meat with the garlic, kosher salt, and pepper.

  3. 3

Form into patties about 2-1/2 inches in diameter. 1/2 inch thick. Then fry in pan. Keep the juices of the patties in the pan.

  4. 4

As the patties get done move to a paper towel to absorb excessive amounts of oil.

  5. 5

Add the sliced onions to the juices of the patties on the second batch. Season the onion with seasoned salt.

  6. 6

    Get the rolls ready.

  7. 7

On the second batch of patties add the cheese.

  8. 8

Now add the second batch to the paper towel.

  9. 9

When the onions are done move to a paper towel to absorb excessive amounts of oil.

  10. 10

Make three different types of sliders. Cheeseburger, hamburger, and tomato. Add mayonnaise to the rolls then one of the three options. Top all three with onions. Also all three have tomato.

  11. 11

Put the tops on and your done. Serve I hope you enjoy!!
