Punjabi Chhole
Steps

Take chick peas and soak them in water for over night.

Next day in a pressure cooker take the soaked chick peas and boil with water and salt.

Heat oil in a pan. Once hot add mustard seeds cumin seeds cloves asafoetida dry red chilli and bay leaf. Saute them for a while.

Now add onions and saute well.

Add tomatoes and cook over medium flame until oil starts to separate.

Add turmeric powder red chilli powder coriander powder and amchur powder. Mix well.

Once done add chick peas and salt. Mix well.

Add some water and mix well.

On a sim flame take a boil.

Let it cook for 5-7 miniutes on slow flame.

Switch off the flame and garnish with chopped coriander leaves.

Serve hot with bhature naan roti or rice.
