Steps

Wash mushrooms thoughly and cut in pieces.

Grind tomatoes, onions and green chillies to make paste.

Take a pan and heat butter in it. Add cumin seeds, ginger/garlic paste and saute. Now add tomato/onion paste and cook it for 5 mins.

Add turmeric powder, salt, red chilli powder and mix well. Saute for 1 min.

Saute it till gravy leaves oil on it's sides.

Now add mushrooms in gravy and also add water to mix it well.

Cover with lid and let it cool for 20 mins on medium low flame. After 20 Mins add kasoori methi and mix well. mushroom butter masala is ready. Add cream and garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot with naan and roti.
