Mix flour, baking soda and salt nicely. You can also sieve them.

Take the butter kept at room temperature. Beat it with sugar until creamy. Use powdered sugar to make this easy. You can also use brown sugar for better colour. Add vanilla essence and beat again till it's nice and creamy

Now add the flour mixture and chocolate chips to this creamed mixture. Mix till it is crumbly. Now add milk slowly as needed to form a smooth cookie dough. Do not over mix just till the whole dough comes together. And it is ok to add more chocolate chips I mean that thing is measure with heart.

Preheat your oven 180 degrees for 10 minutes. If you are using Convection Microwave then preheat till 200 degrees. Take your baking tray and spray oil on it. or you can lay a parchment paper.

Make small balls from the dough. Remember cookies will spread when they bake so it is safer to make small size roundels. Press them slightly. If you find your dough wet you can keep it in fridge for half hour before this step. Or after making dough balls you can keep it in fridge for 10 minutes before sticking it into the oven.

Bake in the oven at 180 degrees for 15-18 minutes. I used Convection mode so it took longer around 20 minutes. keep an eye on them after 10 minutes. They might be soft to touch but once they cool they become hard and crunchy.

Keep them on wire rack to cool and store in air-tight container. Or just have it warm with a glass of milk. And don't worry about the texture. Cookies can be crunchy or chewy. As long as you have added enough chocolate chips
