Soak basmati rice for five minutes and wash well and keep it

In a pan pour 4 glasses of water and half teaspoon salt and let to boil and after that add washed rice and cook until it’s done

In a pan, pour 3 to 4 tablespoons of oil and add big onions and sauté until it turns into light brown and then add ginger garlic paste to it and sauté in medium heat

Meanwhile make a paste of coconut, green chilli, cardamom, cloves and cinnamon into a coarse paste in a blender

And then add this paste to the pan and also the grated carrot and sauté well until the raw smell disappears

Before finishing add some curry leaves and coriander and needed salt to the mixture and mix well

And then add the mixture into the boiled rice and mix well

And also add the cashews and dry grapes once sauting in ghee separately

Serve carrot biryani with carrot Raita
