Ingredients

10 minutes
Makes about 6 servings
  1. 7 ozraw almonds (you can mix with roasted almonds)
  2. 1/2 loafday-old white bread
  3. 1garlic clove
  4. 1/2small cup olive oil
  5. 2 tablespoonsvinegar (do not use balsamic; use plain vinegar)
  6. 2 cupswater (about 500 ml)
  7. salt

Steps

10 minutes
  1. 1

    Remove the crust from the bread and soak it in cold water.

  2. 2

    Peel the garlic and remove the germ.

  3. 3

    Add all the ingredients to the blender (start with the harder ingredients and finish with the softer ones for best blending).

  4. 4

    Blend everything until you have a very smooth cream. Chill well.

  5. 5

    Serve with grapes, melon, or similar fruit.
