Ingredients

  1. For Arancini bean patty
  2. 1/2 cupboiled Red beans/Rajma
  3. 1 cupovercooked rice
  4. 1 tsproasted cumin powder
  5. 1 tspred chilli powder
  6. 1green chilli chopped
  7. 1 tspred chilli flakes
  8. 1 tsplemon juice
  9. 1/2 tsppepper powder
  10. 1 tbspchopped coriander leaves
  11. Salt -to taste
  12. For Harissa dressing
  13. 10whole red chilles
  14. 1/2 tspshahi jeera
  15. 5 clovesgarlic
  16. 1 tsplemon juice
  17. 2 tbspolive oil
  18. 1 tbspcoriander leaves
  19. Salt
  20. 2 tbspwater
  21. 1/4th cup mayonnaise
  22. To coat patty
  23. 1 cupBread crumbs
  24. 1/4 cupplain flour/maida
  25. 1/4 cupcornflour
  26. Water to make batter
  27. Oil to shallow fry
  28. To assemble
  29. 2laccha paratha half cooked (can use readymade or homemade)
  30. 1 tspMexican seasoning
  31. 2 tbspchopped coriander leaves
  32. 1/4 cupcheese (mozzarella)
  33. 1 tspdry oregano
  34. 3 tbspbutter for brushing

Steps

  1. 1

    Firstly in a large mixing bowl add boiled Rajma and cooked rice, mash both well

  2. 2

    Then to this add remaining ingredients listed below Arancini bean patty and combine everything well

    Now make patty out of this mixture

    In a small bowl add cornflour and maida add water and prepare batter

  5. 5

    Now to this batter dip Rajma patty and coat it with breadcrumbs

  6. 6

    Heat oil in a pan, once heated shallow fry this patty till golden brown from both the sides,once done remove on plate

    Now in a mixer grinder add all the ingredients listed below Harrisa dressing except mayonnaise and make a smooth paste

    Now remove this paste to a bowl,add mayonnaise to this mix well

    Now take one laccha paratha /layered paratha on plate, apply harissa dressing, sprinkle some cheese, mexican seasoning, coriander leaves. Now keep 2 patty on this

    Now fold it as shown in picture,sprinkle some oregano on top of it and apply butter on parathas

    U can either bake or pan fry this

  12. 12

    For pan frying add 1 tbsp oil or butter in a non stick pan and fry till golden brown from both the sides

    For baking pre heat oven to 180 degree for 10mins and bake for 15-20mins or till done

    Now indo mexican tacos are ready to serve
