A very easy tasty rice preparation

Wash the rice and soak for 10 minutes.Drain and keep aside later.

Take a pan heat it..Put oil and ghee....Then add the whole spices...Saute for 30 seconds...

Then add the sliced onions and saute again for 2 to 3 minutes...Put chilli powder....Then add chopped tomatoes...Fry till soft...

Add the washed and drained rice.

Fry well....Add the measured water and put salt.... Squeeze lemon juice...And mix well..

Close with lid and let it cook on medium flame for 5 to 6 minutes...

Turn the gas off when it is cooked....

Garnish with coriander leaves... serve hot with raita of your choice...
