Made this for my mother's birthday...was my first time baking a cake!! It surprisingly turned out good....and here's the recipe.

Made this for my mother's birthday...was my first time baking a cake!! It surprisingly turned out good....and here's the recipe.
Steps

Deseed the kimia dates(the soft kind) and form a paste. Mix this paste with curd, milk and add the baking soda and keep aside for 5 mins till you see bubbles forming.

Mix the gluten free flour with the roasted nuts and unsalted butter.

Mix the dry ingredients with wet ingredients to form a paste like mixture, add salt to taste.

Pour this mixture in an greased baking tin.

I don't own a microwave owen hence I baked the cake in an pressure cooker on medium flame for 45 mins.

Once the cake is baked which can be checked with the help of a knife, let the cake cool off for 10-15 mins. Add the fresh grape juice or any citrus fruit juice to moisten the cake.
