Ingredients

  1. 1 cupdried beans
  2. 1 tablespoonchopped onion
  3. 1 stalkcelery chopped
  4. 1/3 teaspoonpepper
  5. 1/2 teaspoonsalt
  6. 1 cuptomato pulp
  7. 1 cupcooked rice
  8. 1/4 cupolive oil
  9. (Cup chopped cabbage may be added)
  10. Parmesan cheese
  11. Paprika

Steps

  1. 1

    Soak beans overnight in cold water drain.

  2. 2

    Add 5 cups cold water and simmer until tender

  3. 3

    Add more water if needed

  4. 4

    Cook onion and celery in hot oil to light brown add seasoning and tomatoes

  5. 5

    Add hot beans then hot rice

  6. 6

    Cook mixture 30 minutes

  7. 7

    Serve with grated cheese and paprika
