Easy and Cute Heart-shaped Rusks Easy and Cute Heart-shaped Rusks
I was wondering if I could make something with the sliced bread I had at home, and ended up creating this recipe. I made them into heart shapes because it was the day before Valentines Day, but I'm sure you could use other cookie cutters to make different shapes. The ingredients marked with should be a 1:1 ratio. Use whatever type of sugar you prefer, I used light brown sugar. Mix in some cocoa powder or cinnamon for a change. You can make approximately 6 hearts with one slice of bread. Just Mix and Cook! Easy French Toast Just Mix and Cook! Easy French Toast
When I have lots of frozen bread, I make French toast with it. It's a tasty way to empty out your freezer. Here are some French toast recipes:Cheese French Toast,Cocoa French ToastMilk Tea French ToastMatcha French ToastFrozen bread doesn't absorb the ingredients very well, so put the coated bread from Step 1 in the microwave (at 500 W) for 1 minute to warm it up a little, then flip over and microwave for 1 more minute. This should help the egg mixture soak into the bread. This will shorten the time it takes to cook it later. For 1 serving. Recipe by Satokopanta-ni cookpad.japan -

Rusk-style Bread Crusts Rusk-style Bread Crusts
I love 5 slice (2.4-cm thick) sandwich bread, but it's hard to divide among three people! When I baked these up, they were a big hit! Since we are big eaters, this recipe was created out of desperation!I'm envious of families where everyone eats only 1 slice of bread each. Just today, my son ate 3 slices plus these bread crusts.Every toaster oven is different, so adjust this to suit your oven; bake these to the point where you think they might have baked for a bit too long. Keep an eye on them or they'll burn! Recipe by Team yokin cookpad.japan -

Crispy in an Oven French Toast Crispy in an Oven French Toast
A recipe for oven-baked French toast was on display in a bakeware shop near my house, but the recipe used such a tiny amount of liquid. So I modified the recipe in such a way that I thought it would suit my family's tastes better. There's usually no rings free on the hob in the morning as everyone's making their packed lunches, so recipes like this that don't require a frying pan are so handy. Pictured is the recipe made with Danish bread. With this amount of egg mixture you can soak 4 slices of an 8 slice loaf of bread, but please shorten the baking time slightly. The egg mixture will probably not be enough to do 4 slices of an 6 loaf bread, so add one more egg to ensure the bread gets saturated. Note that this will result in a stronger egg taste and the overall result will be less sweet. Recipe by nemarin cookpad.japan
