Peel and grate the onion, then set aside.

Peel and finely chop the garlic, then set aside.

Wash the bell peppers, remove the stems and seeds, chop them into small pieces, and set aside.

Coat the cod cubes in flour and set aside.

Heat a large pot over medium heat with a generous amount of olive oil. When hot, add the cod cubes and brown them on all sides. Once browned, remove and set aside.

In the same pot, add the chopped peppers and cook until they start to soften. Then add the grated onion and stir well.

Add the paprika and stir immediately so it doesn't burn, mixing it with the other ingredients. Add the crushed tomatoes and a pinch of salt, and let the mixture cook until the sauce is ready.

Add the reserved cod cubes, noodles, fish stock, chopped garlic, and chopped parsley. Stir and cook over medium heat until the noodles are al dente.

Taste the soup at this point and adjust the salt if needed. If the soup is too thick, add a bit more stock or water.

When there are 5 minutes left for the noodles to finish cooking, you can add the dried chili pepper for extra flavor.
