Ingredients

  1. 2.2 lbscooked pinto beans (about 1 kg)
  2. 1.1 lbsham (about 500 grams)
  3. 1.1 lbshot dogs (about 500 grams)
  4. 8.8 ozMexican chorizo (about 250 grams)
  5. 8.8 ozbacon (about 250 grams)
  6. 5Roma tomatoes
  7. 1/4onion
  8. 2garlic cloves
  9. 1 pinchcumin
  10. 2chicken bouillon cubes
  11. Oil
  12. Salt, to taste
  13. 2cascabel chiles
  14. Cilantro

Steps

  1. 1

    Chop the ham and hot dogs to your preferred size.

    In a large pot, heat oil and fry the chorizo and bacon.

    Once they release their fat, add the hot dogs and ham.

    Blend the tomatoes with the onion, garlic, and cumin, then pour the mixture into the pot with the meats.

    Once the mixture is slightly cooked, add the cilantro, stir, then add the cascabel chiles and chicken bouillon cubes.

    When the mixture has released its fat, add it to the cooked beans and let it boil until the foam disappears.
