Steps

Boil the dal with salt and turmeric powder

Add rice and boil until it gets soft

In a pan add oil and temper cumin seed bay leaf and red chilli

Add ginger paste and saute well

Add tomato saute well along with powder masala

Add red chilli Powder and desiccated coconut mix well and pour into the rice and dal

Add sugar and ghee boil well
- 8
Serve hot with fried vegetables.
