Okay, I have a strange love for imitation crab. It's not very good.. and I love it anyway. I hated it as a kid, and for some odd reason I have craved it daily for the passed 6 months or so. I know, something might be wrong with me ;)

Nice fresh salad, can be made with fresh or Imitation crab salad.

This is a basic recipe. Add spices as you wish. I like the sriracha for heat, but you could do green chilies, cayenne pepper, jalapeno, etc. or just do garlic & lemon juice. Lots of possibilities.

I had some crab and green onions I needed to use up so daughter made crab cakes as I made crab salad. I am a big vegetable eater, so I always try to think of new ways to serve vegetables. Maybe try some tomatoes in it too, I didn't because my daughter is allergic to tomatoes while I love them.

As a "vegetarian/hopeful vegan," I am a big fan of tuna salad, egg salad, chicken salad, or any sandwich that involves dairy as opposed to "lunch meat" aka processed & cured pork! 🙄👌 My honey loves crab. One of my favorites summer macaroni salads.I substitute the celery for peas this time, and added in celery seasoning. I didn’t have any celery when making this but i did have leftovers peas from dinner that I needed to use up i made this at night to have the next day for dinner. This can just be refrigerator for a few hours or overnight. The sugar don’t skip it will bring out the taste of the crab meat better. This is very changeable recipe, can add more or less and always taste test it to see if it needs more , this batch here needs more Dukes but it took all i had , I completely over did my pasta and made to much what can i say i love pasta and I always make too much. That is definitely more than 2 cups of pasta. Oops ( i will be adding more Dukes to this batch before I sever it.

My father in law made this at a cook out and I loved it!
