Steps
- 1
Finely chop the cabbages on a chopping board and keep aside. Then, peel the onion and finely chop it too! Wash the green chilies and chop in a small bowl.
- 2
Now, put a non-stick pan or a kadhai on medium flame and heat oil in it. When the oil is hot enough, add the cumin seeds in it and let them splutter. Next, add the chopped onions and saute for a minute or two till brown in colour.
- 3
Add the chopped green chillies and cook for a few seconds. Finally, add the chopped cabbage in the kadhai and stir well. Quickly add the turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, salt, and garam masala in the kadhai, and mix well all the ingredients. Cover the kadhai with a lid and let the cabbage cook for 6-7 minutes.
- 4
After cooking cabbage, add the peas in the kadhai and mix once again. Cook the vegetables for about 10 minutes, and stir in between. Remove when done and serve hot with a chapati or ajwain paratha.
