First in a pressure cooker add whole green moong and water cook for 3 whistles.(i didnt soak moong before).Let release the pressure by itself.

In a pressure cooker add oil + ghee when heats add bay leave,dry red chilli,cumin seeds and hing.add onion and stir for a min.add garlic and ginger, cook for a min on low to medium flame till nice golden.add all spices mentioned above (except garam masala)stir, add tomatoes + green chilli, saute it for few sec.add little water cover it and cook for a min.until masala leaves oil.

Now add pressure cooked moong saute well and Cook for a min. Add 1 cup of water and cook for only 1 whistle.

In last add garam masala, lemon juice and fresh coriander.mix well and serve with roti or with rice.
