Ingredients

  1. 3 cupidli batter
  2. For stuffing
  3. 1/2 cupcorn kernels
  4. 1carrot grated
  5. 1/4 cupshredded coconut
  6. 10cashews (broken)
  7. 1 tbspoil
  8. to tasteSalt
  9. 1 tspMustard seeds

Steps

  1. 1

    Take oil in a pan

  2. 2

    Add mustard seeds and let them crackle

  3. 3

    Add all the ingredients mentioned under stuffing madd salt and saute

  4. 4

    Let the stuffing mix cool down

  5. 5

    Grease the idli mould

  6. 6

    Pour 1 spoon batter in each indent

  7. 7

    Tap a little so that it spreads on it's own

  8. 8

    Place little stuffing in the middle of each

  9. 9

    Pour one spoon batter on each so that it covers the stuffing

  10. 10

    Steam for 15-20 mins as we do for plain batter

  11. 11

    Take out when it cools down & serve with gun powder or wet coconut chutney

  12. 12

    An easy tiffin idea for kids which can be given without chutney too
