Take putty flour mix in a bowl add salt sprinkle 1/3 cup water all over the putty flour,water amount depends your quantity of putty flour you have taken,Now rub with you finger tips to get soft puttu.Rub small portion of the puttu between your palms. It should form a lump.Keep water in the base vessel of puttu kudam and keep on stove top and let it get heated. Now take Cylindrical vessel add 2 to 3 tablespoon fresh coconut in the cylinder vessel spread evenly add putty flour.

Again add 2-3 Tablespoon fresh coconut spread evenly add putty flour again cover with the top lid and steam puttu on medium flame for 5 to 7 minutes remove the steamed puttu serve hot with south indian chana masala.
