Take besan add all ingredients under(for pakodas) make a thick batter.Heat oil in a kadhai, put pakora batter in the oil help with finger, make a small pakoras and keep aside.

Combine curd and besan and whisk it nicely.keep aside.

Make onion paste.Heat oil in a deep pan add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, ajwain, onion paste and ginger garlic paste,turmeric powder saute very well until the raw smell disappears pour the buttermilk batter.

Keep cooking on medium flame,and whisk continues till small bubbles start forming on top.

Add pakoras in a kadhi, cook for 5 minutes,add salt or red chilli powder. Cook again for 10 minutes on medium flame.

Heat 1 tbsp oil add tadka ingredients let it crackle and add in the gravy keep the lid closed.

Goes well with rice.
