Steps

Take the idli batter in a mixing bowl. Add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and sambar masala. Mix well.

Heat little oil in a tadka pan. When heated, add mustard and cumin seeds and let them splatter.

Add the tadka in the idli batter and mix well.

Grease your cupcake moulds with some oil.

Pour the idli batter in the moulds until 3/4th level.

Microwave the idlis on high for 2-3 minutes or until cooked.

Alternatively, you can steam the cupcakes just like idlis in an idli stand.

Your idli cupcakes will be ready. Demould them.

Put the coconut chutney in a piping bag and pipe a dollop on the cupcakes.

Garnish with a spring of coriander and serve.
